Coach Jesse Muench – Venice Florida Basketball Skills Trainer

Hi, I’m Jesse. I’m a professional basketball skills trainer based out of Venice, Florida.

I work with a range of players from complete beginners up to NBA talent. I’ve worked with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Paul George, Chris Paul and many more on things ranging from basketball camps to NBA on ESPN commercials.

From local camps at the YMCA, to basketball trick shows in Italy, I’ve travelled the globe training and entertaining players.  Some of the brands I’ve worked with include Nike, NCAA, ABC, Jordan, Red Bull, and EA Sports.

My online content with Get Handles Basketball is helping millions of players take their game to the next level.

But you know what really get’s me excited? Helping players in the Venice area get better than even they thought possible.

I want to make the area a hotspot for basketball talent.  That all starts with helping individual players like you become the best that you can be.

Early on

I grew up in the country in Wisconsin, and played basketball for a small town that had a population of about 1,000 people.

Despite being on a team where pretty much EVERYONE gets lots of playing time, I sat the bench a lot, and some games didn’t get any playing time.

I was that bad.

A big part of that was because I wasted a lot of time on things that didn’t help me get better.

My passion for the game kept me going though, and over the years I’ve discovered hundreds of things that have helped me dramatically improve to get where I am today.

Current

I’m still constantly trying to find new ways to improve both my game, and more importantly, the players I’m training.

I know what a difference smart training can make.

It’s what allowed my to get to the point where I was featured on ESPN commercials, working with NBA stars, and doing what I love full time.

If a below average country boy like me can do this, you certainly can do more with the right training.

My biggest goals right now are to get as many players as I can to make a profession out of basketball, make the Venice area a hot spot for talent, and instill the personal traits that basketball gives to succeed in life.
